Having a rich backlog of interesting ideas, the innovations team in Munich is looking for a: 

Product Manager Innovation Projects (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• You will be a member of the Veridos Innovations Team and be responsible for ideations, idea conceptualization and validation including market research, business model and business case design, as well as internal steering of innovations projects
• You will be responsible for coordinating the development of Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), Minimal Viable Products (MVPs), as well as managing external resources
• You will be responsible for the management of work packages in publicly funded innovation projects related to the design and construction of demonstrators for a faster person identification at border control using biometric technologies
• You will be up to date with relevant technology trends and support the technology scouting and roadmapping processes at Veridos.
• You will participate in group wide communities on relevant technology topics and be writing articles and white papers on selected topics

Your profile:

• You have a university degree in engineering, computer science, physics or similar or equivalent experience
• You have at least 2 years of experience working as project manager/product manager or innovations manager
• You have a good understanding of software and software development and basic understanding of hardware development (e.g. 3D printing, mechanical engineering)
• You have experience defining the scope of Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) and Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) and delivering them
• You have experience in project management and are able to steer development teams (internal and external)
• You are a person that enjoys learning new things, that can plan and structure projects but still keeps things flexible, and that values the benefits of working as a team
• You are good at communicating complex technology ideas also to non-technical people and senior management
• You are a motivated person that loves working independently as part of a multi-cultural and cross-disciplinary team
• Your English (written and spoken) is very good. Our team communicates in English.
