Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

Overall Goal:

• To manage customer projects end-to-end, and to drive the projects towards a successful closure
• To act as a business lead: you are responsible for ensuring that the customer’s objectives are met with the planned project scope

Your Responsibilities:

• Independent management of complex customer projects within our CBDC ecosystem, which includes backend applications, apps, wallets and smart cards. The customers are typically Central Banks
• Confident control of projects and management of the project team over the entire project cycle from requirements analysis to implementation
• Anticipation and control of project risks in a rapidly changing environment
• Cooperation with internal and external stakeholders on different hierarchical levels in an international environment
• Ensuring subcontractors (if part of the project) are well-managed in terms of scope, quality and timelines
• Processing of tenders together with our sales department and the technical contact person

Your Profile: 

• You have proven years of experience in managing complex IT projects for customers. Project teams respect you and you manage to inspire them
• You demonstrate resilience and decisive leadership under pressure, maintaining strategic focus and guiding projects through complex challenges to successful outcomes
• You communicate convincingly in English, both with internal teams and with our contact persons at the customer at all hierarchical levels. Other languages such as Spanish, French, German or Arabic are a plus
• You have excellent analytical skills and can quickly understand new, complex topics. You keep track of things even in troubled waters and steer projects to success in a targeted and effective manner. You are able to effectively moderate and steer business-content discussions, even if you are not an expert in the subjects that are being discussed. When needed, you make decisions based on limited information.
• Experience with projects in the area of payment or with solutions that place high demands on IT security would be an advantage
• Experience with Economics or Central Banks would be an advantage

• Willingness and flexibility to travel to customers on an regular basis is required
• The position can be located in our G+D offices in Munich or in Barcelona
