G+D makes the lives of billions of people more secure. We develop innovative products and solutions to safeguard payment processes, identities, connectivity, and data. With more than 160 years of experience behind us, we approach each day with renewed energy and passion. We are an international technology group and traditional family-owned company, with over 11,000 employees in 32 countries.
Creating Confidence is our path to success; and it could soon be yours, too.

We are convinced, that central banks across the world will introduce a so-called Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) like the digital Euro within the next five years.
This will create a whole ecosystem of products and services that fit perfectly with Giesecke+Devrient's existing product portfolio.
The CBDC ecosystem ranges from banking applications to mobile apps and down to small embedded devices.

The solutions involved in such an ecosystem will deal with terabytes of data, high availability, high performance, high security and millions of customers.
Our mission is to create and grow a new set of products and solutions that will enable all participants to benefit from the upcoming e-Money revolution.
