Head of Security (m/f/d)

For our department Architecture, Portfolio & Steering we are looking for a Head of Security (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities:
- Define the local and implement the global security strategy according to external and internal requirements in close collaboration with both the relevant business as well as the corporate security teams
- Takes over the integrated security risk management and reporting within the framework of the group guidelines
- Steer local security incident-, emergency- and crisis situations
- Perform local, internal security audits and coordinate external audits an lead activities to mitigate corrective actions
- Foster information sharing regarding major threats, vulnerabilities and risks within GS
- Authorize GS policies, security related instructions and processes aligned to the corporate security strategy
- Manage major security related incident-, emergency- and crisis situations
- Act as Point of contact for GS IT to consult global projects regarding architecture and policy compliance
Your Profile:
- Master degree in computer science, security / information security or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in security functions
- Experience with internal investigations and incident management
- Experience in physical security (access control / badge systems, CCTV etc.) and personnel security (handling certificates of good conduct, contracting background checks etc.)
- Relevant certifications in the field of Information Security Management are mandatory (e.g. CISSP, ISO 2700x)
- Knowledge and practical experience in the application of relevant standards and norms, e.g. ISO 27xxx, Common Criteria, PCI-CPP & GSMA-SAS guidelines, NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Ability to communicate security problems in a target group-oriented manner
- Solid understanding of risk management processes
- Ability to develop and defend technical recommendations and budgetary plans
- Solid understanding of key ITIL process standards
- IT and Security Architecture Know How
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Willingness to travel
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as customer-oriented mindset
