As an IP Intelligence Analyst, you are an essential part of the cross-functional IP Portfolio team that enables decisions on IP strategy, creation and use.

Your responsibilities
- Be part of IP portfolio team: Collaborate with the IP Portfolio Managers, product management and R&D stakeholders, to define and deliver on the insights needed to create and deliver on the IP strategy
- Provide IP intelligence-based decision support: Drive impact in recurring IP intelligence analyses and offer event-ready capacity to respond to urgent IP intelligence needs
- Liaise with and support relevant forums in the Group: Support interfaces outside Corporate IP that need IP intelligence as basis for decisions, e.g. competitor analysis, business and technology roadmaps, technology portfolio and investment decisions, and specific business decisions
- Way-of-working: Support the continuous improvement of processes, approach, frameworks and tools for IP intelligence and drive tool systematization and reuse of data
Your profile
- A degree with a major in economics or business administration or technology
- Profound work experience and knowledge of patents as well as IP trends, developments, and practices
- Knowledge about different IP intelligence tools and platforms (e.g. Cipher, PatenSight, IPlytics)
- Fluent in English, Language skills in German are a plus
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage and compile large amounts of complex and diverse data
- An interest and ability to understand state-of-the-art technology
- Service-minded with strong business acumen
- Effective communication skills with the ability to widely communicate with people ranging from business managers to technicians and IP professionals
