International Tax Controller (m/w/d)

For our department Corporate Tax we are looking for an International Tax Controller (m/f/d) as soon as possible:

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to optimize the group's tax position and ensuring compliance with tax regulations at the interface between Controlling and Tax

  • Managing the group wide International Tax Controlling process

  • Analyzing the group's tax position and identifying tax related opportunities, risks, and need for action

  • Driving the implementation of tax related optimization measures in close collaboration with the international subsidiaries

  • Analyzing and evaluating the group's financial tax data and implementing measures to improve the group’s effective tax rate

  • Supporting the group’s annual year-end closing process concerning the tax position of the international subsidiaries

  • Strong international focus and close collaboration with the finance teams of G+D’s international subsidiaries worldwide

 

Your Profile:

  • Finance background with a strong focus on Tax and Controlling

  • Successfully completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and/or Taxation

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in industry and consulting

  • Strong IT affinity as well as knowledge and interest in Data Analytics

  • Experience with databases and Power BI is an advantage

  • Strong analytical skills and an independent working style

  • Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in international teams

  • Excellent English language skills and good knowledge of German
