OnSite SW Implementation Manager (m/f/d)

Work with us as an On-Site Software Implementation Manager (m/f/d) in the implementation of cash center solutions on the construction sites of our worldwide customers and contribute with your software know-how to a leading technological progress and a high satisfaction of our demanding customers.

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for the installation and commissioning of all IT and software-relevant components of an automation project and maintain a continuous presence on site during all project phases
• You are the central interface to the software engineering and development team as well as to project management and our customers
• You carry out on-site management of all related project activities and lead a team of SW engineers on-site
• You will create software implementation plans and communicate them effectively to ensure a smooth project flow
• Provide weekly project update reports and clear communication to the management team on all software related project issues
• Lead, conduct and coordinate on-site testing to ensure smooth operation of implemented software systems
• Update all relevant documentation related to system changes and proactively seek out areas for improvement and make recommendations
• In the event of software or hardware issues, you will liaise with the support contract providers

Your profile:

• You have completed a technical university degree in computer science or industrial engineering
• You have extensive international experience in project management or construction management of large plant projects (automated intralogistics or production plants)
• Your quick comprehension and ability to recognize complex interrelationships makes it easy for you to implement our customers' requirements
• You are familiar with dealing with different cultures and have experience in leading international teams
• You are characterized by a high level of customer orientation as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills
• In addition to your independent and structured way of working, you have a high degree of assertiveness and are motivated to generate new solutions
• You have a solid understanding of commercial issues
• For our international projects on the construction site, you must speak perfect English and are deployed worldwide 90% of the time; you are therefore very willing to travel
