IT Architect

Scope and Purpose:

• Work with us and support us as an IT architect in providing a smoothly functioning integration of all IT/OT components that are necessary to drive our business processes. An exciting task, an international customer base and a dynamic and highly motivated team are awaiting you.

Job Responsibility:

• You are responsible for the technical management of IT/OT aspects for integration solutions in international projects
• You accompany projects remotely and on-site throughout all project life cycle phases, starting from the preparation of the offer through implementation to handover to the customer and the subsequent hypercare / support phase
• You develop and design IT/OT architectures taking into account common high availability, redundancy and security standards
• You adapt concepts to customer requirements and find pragmatic, optimal solutions for the integration of the components involved
• You coordinate the IT/OT aspects of internal and external stakeholders involved in the project
• You are performing related requirements engineering and requirements management
• You are steering and measuring our related suppliers
• You present, argue and adapt solution proposals in collaboration with IT departments of our international customers
• You regularly monitor and report the level of progress to management in a structured manner
• You create technical documentation for project management, customers, suppliers and create work instructions for our resident IT/OT engineers

Skills and Qualifications:

• You have a technical university degree or comparable training (ICT area)
• You have several years of experience in planning medium to large IT/OT integration projects in plant engineering (automated intralogistics or production systems)
• You also have several years of experience in requirements analysis for IT/OT systems for controlling automation components and experience with physical and virtual server, network and security infrastructures
• You are familiar with SLAs and the associated design of highly available IT environments (ITIL v4)
• You feel comfortable as a team player in independent collaboration with international and virtual global teams
• You are characterized by your very high analytical skills, structured and solution-oriented approach and know how to take a team along with you and convince them with your coherent argumentation.
• You speak English, ideally also French, fluently in both written and spoken form. 
• Your willingness to travel internationally ideally rounds off your profile.
