Paralegal_French Speaker
Scope and Purpose:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our legal team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the regulatory environment in the UAE, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. This role involves assisting with document drafting, administrative support and legal research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and compile information on legal, compliance, and data privacy topics to support the Head of Department (HOD) and the team.
- Create and revise legal documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Maintain and systematically organize confidential legal records.
- Keep abreast of legal and regulatory changes in the UAE.
- Offer comprehensive administrative support to the legal and compliance team, including:
- Manage the document filing
- Organize and maintain physical folders
- Manage and updating the internal contract database
- Manage and updating the business partner database
- Manage and updating the company SharePoint with current subsidiary information
- Organize and maintain confidential legal records.
- Perform screenings and handle the renewal or filing of due diligence documents.
- Assist colleagues in gathering, submitting, and renew of documents
- Collaborate with peers from other departments to gather documents for business partners.
- Collaborate with peers from other departments on different matters related to legal, compliance, and data privacy
- Aid colleagues in completing and renewing Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
- Manage and file corporate documents, ensuring availability to colleagues as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in the UAE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic and or French is an advantage.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in corporate, commercial and banking is advantageous.
