Sales Manager
Scope and Purpose:
-
Sales Management: Oversee and increase sales of currency automation products and services both directly and via channel partners in assigned territory within Middle East, North, West and Central Africa. Collaborate with the Head of Sales Commercial and Regional Sales Directors, ensuring alignment with the Regional Sales Strategy.

Relationship Building: Establish and maintain robust relationships with existing direct customers and channel partners in the assigned territory.

Customer Engagement: Support and engage with channel partners and customers throughout the business cycle, ensuring close cooperation with sales administration to follow up on project milestones.

Sales Opportunities: Identify and trigger new sales opportunities by offering appropriate solutions from our product mix, tailored to meet customer requirements.

Market Analysis: Monitor competitive activities, identify future customer needs in terms of product portfolio and cash automation solutions, and establish a strong link with Product Marketing/Management.

Contract Management: Manage contracts with channel partners in compliance with G+D FZE internal guidelines.

Sales Targets: Achieve individual sales targets and company objectives within the allocated sales area.

Strategic Planning: Prepare and present strategic plans for complex cash center solutions to customers.

Negotiation: Liaise and negotiate with high-ranking public and private sector officials.

Deal Closure: Finalize deals and sign sales and maintenance contracts with direct customers.

Reporting: Provide accurate reporting of order income, revenues, and sales activity forecasts in Salesforce.

Project Initiation: Initiate project scope to obtain costs and internal approvals, and review financial and technical proposals for timely and presentable customer delivery.

Coordination: Coordinate with Service and Sales Operations teams for the execution of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).

Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest product information and technical requirements to confidently sell products and support the reseller channel.
Qualifications:
- Education: Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years in overall sales management.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in pipeline development and go-to-market planning and execution.
- Extensive experience in cash management.
- Ideally experienced in key account management.
- High-level decision-making and relationship-building/management skills.
- Proactive, result-driven, and capable of operating both individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with direct sales and distributor management, preferably in the public sector.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territories.
