The Accounting Manager and Finance Business Partner - Services assists in establishing and maintaining effective fiscal procedures and controls and is responsible for running the monthly SAP Controlling close, reviewing monthly operating results and working closely with the Accounting Shared Services to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results. He/she will be immersed into the Service operations to support the business and understand the drivers, opportunities and challenges in order to provide analytical support to the executive management  team, improve operational performance and drive financial results.




  • Perform month end close activities, including analyzing financial results, reconciling accounts, preparing supporting schedules and reporting to the parent company
  • Interpret, document and apply accounting theory
  • Execute and document tasks in SAP Controlling
  • Ensure consistency between the financial statements (SAP FI modules) and management reporting (SAP CO module)
  • Understand financial processes and systems and work with business to ensure financial transactions are properly recorded in the system
  • Maintain proper inventory valuation to include analyzing and recognizing appropriate obsolescence reserves in accordance with accounting standards and Group guidelines
  • Participate in risk management tracking and drive the creation and maintenance of internal controls to mitigate identified risks
  • Create and maintain documentation of financial processes and procedures
  • Work with external auditors on the annual audit
  • Prepare, analyze and present monthly, quarterly and annual operating results, variance and profitability analysis for the Service business
  • Lead the preparation, analysis and review of  budget, forecasts and financial reporting for the Service business line and other cost centers and accounts
  • Assist in establishing KPIs for the Service business and monitor them regularly
  • Identify profit enhancement and cost reduction opportunities to Service management
  • Implement standardization and process improvement opportunities
  • Build successful partnerships with  key internal customers and cross functional teams
  • Ad hoc reporting, analytics execution and other duties as assigned




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting plus 5+ years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Experience in SAP Finance and Controlling modules strongly preferred
  • Experience reviewing and documenting processes and procedures a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong problem solving skills, conceptual thinking and creativity
  • Good analytical skills, detail oriented, well organized and have the ability to multi-task
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at various levels of the organization and teamwork skills that foster a collaborative environment
  • Comfortable working in a transitional environment
