Summary:

 

The Associate CPM provides project management and support for the sale, development, manufacture, and installation of G+D’s currency automation products and solutions.  The position works closely with sales, product marketing, engineering, and customer support teams to help develop, deliver, and install product solutions designed to meet the requirements of G+D’s banknote automation customers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for identifying and mitigating risk and issues, ensuring successful completion of project tasks.  Reviewing and ensuring delivery of quality deliverables, and solves any project related problems.
  • Serves as liaison with the customer, effectively building relationships with various levels of the customer’s  organization (managers, PM’s, IT staff, etc.)
  • Meet company and customer deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Assist in the performance of in-house and on-site software and hardware testing for product validation and to ensure G+D solutions meet customer and market requirements.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Document, track, and follow-up on risks, issues, and action items as identified in meetings.
  • Report customer dissatisfaction to management in a timely manner escalating issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may be changed or assigned at any time with or without notice.

 
Required Knowledge and Skills:
 

  • Ability to respond quickly to support customer needs.
  • Ability to work under pressure in order to meet customer deadlines.
  • Some tasks are routine, such as the documentation of customer requirements and client training.  Other tasks will be more challenging and require the ability to make decisions without assistance, such as responding to customer’s problems or product failures.
  • Demonstrated experience managing different projects to include tracking the schedule, identifying issues, resolving issues and/or recommending solutions to Manager
  • High levels of professionalism, diplomacy, and patience working with many key stakeholders
  • Strong organization, communication and writing skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable initiative and teamwork abilities
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Solid experience and skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio

 

Required Education and Experience:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree, PM certification, or minimum 3 years demonstrated experience project managing, or actively part of team deploying equipment at a customer’s location.  
  • Knowledge of G+D’s currency technology equipment, Electro-mechanical, and/or IT related skills while not required are a plus and will aid in succeeding in this role.
