JOB TITLE - Associate Technical Product Manager/ Product Specialist

Objective Of This Role: 


In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to support the Technical Product Managers in overseeing the product development and lifecycle of Banknote Processing Systems. You will assist in the integration of hardware and software components, facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure the smooth execution of product strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented and structured approach to managing tasks related to research, documentation, product validation testing and stakeholder communication.
                                 

                                                                                                                                                           
Tasks & Responsibilities:  (Major task and role person will have to perform – list all the relevant points)    


-    Support the development and execution of the product roadmap in collaboration with Technical Product Managers, Project Managers and System Engineering teams.
-    Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assist in identifying industry trends and customer needs.
-    Assist in gathering and prioritizing product requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
-    Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product features, aligning with project planning and product lifecycle requirements.
-    Support release planning by helping in documentation, including release notes, user guides, and other product-related materials.
-    Assist in organizing test planning and execution activities to gather field feedback and validate product outputs based on customer requirements.
-    Help analyze service concepts and business cases, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
-    Work closely with the Quality team to track and document customer complaints, feeding them into the product backlog for resolution.
-    Assist the Helpdesk team with training materials and sessions for new product features to enhance customer support capabilities.
-    Engage with multiple stakeholders including:
•    Product Management
•    Global Subsidiaries
•    System Management (Systems Engineering and Verification & Validation Teams)
•    Product Development Teams (Software/Hardware R&D, Documentation Team)
•    Manufacturing (Contract Manufacturers)
•    Operations (Supply Chain and Configuration Management)
•    Development Partners

Education & Trainings:  (Basic & Professional)
-    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
-    5+ years of relevant experience in a related role.

Technical know how:  (Mention the technology on which person must be experienced)
Mandatory
-    •    Experience working with hardware-software integrated systems.
•    Familiarity with product management tools such as business cases, feature descriptions, use cases and user stories.
•    Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.
•    Knowledge of product development methodologies and best practices.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
•    Business fluency in English
•    Willingness to travel when required.
Good to know
-    •    A good understanding of Mechatronics product principles.
•    Proven experience in a product technology company , with a track record of influencing processes and strategy for positive impact.

Soft Skills:  (Inputs on soft skills required for role, like team management, communication, customer management etc)    
-    •    Ability to influence cross-functional teams in Individual Lead Role.
•    Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
•    A self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with a mature and professional demeanor.
•    Agile and Scrum experience is a plus.
