Work location : Gurugram

  • Qualification: B. Tech in mechanical/industrial /production engineering

  • Experience  : 8-10 years’ experience in production/manufacturing  , design transfer, New part development , New product development and introduction , manufacturing process understanding

  • Must have 3-4 years of relevant experience  in production/manufacturing

  • Preferably from a product based / EMS  industry / Automotive OEM

  • Get technically involved with   external: EMS , teir-1,2 suppliers  ;   internal : R&D , purchasing  during design transfer , prototypes and then production ramp up

  • Production line automation : jigs , fixtures, gauges , injection molds and stamping tools required   to stream line the part quality and process stabilization ,

  • Expert and hand on experience in various manufacturing processes & their capabilities :  precision sheet metal processes ,  injection molding , machining, electro-mech sub assembly and assembly process

  • Change process  , Engineering change notice (ECN) process  review , PLM process :  implementation on time , understanding Product structure , variants , labels etc.

  • Hands on experience in part and process development following APQP  , PPAP  

  • Drawing review,  PFMEA , inspection report review , different inspection processes , Tool qualification, GD&T  

  • understanding of production planning and scheduling,  TAKT and cycle times, process level cycle times, idle time and so on

  • basics knowledge  of CAD  software & PLM tools like  Creo parametric, windchill  and SAP

  • Production /manufacturing diagnosing problems , root cause analysis

  • Knowledge in electronics commodity like PCBA ,sensors , harness :  will be an added advantage

  • Decision making , strong analytical  skill  & communication

  • Passion to deliver Product  on time , out of box thinking
