Objective Of This Role:

G+D’s IT Enterprise Operations team is the global delivery and support operations center for G+D groups’ global locations and subsidiaries. EOC manages the IT Infrastructure (Server /Datacenter, Collaboration and Messaging, Network LAN/ WAN / WiFi and Firewall security) and Enterprise IT Applications (SAP, PLM, Mobility, Business Appls). The center is also accountable for delivering high value and high visibility IT projects & programs across various IT domains.

Person will be responsible for the SharePoint development and administration, monitor and fix any issue in SharePoint platform hosted custom or out-of the-box webapps and environment cluster.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

  1. Custom development on SharePoint platform and  administration including user support
  2. Able to do effective consulting with end-user/ Stakeholders and advise, suggest better ideas on webapps , development, workflows
  3. Able to understand the user-requirements, articulate technically and propose > deploy solution
  4. Hodo understanding of  staging/dev/test environments and production 
  5. Maintaining the SharePoint webapps and sites/sub-sites hosted.
  6. Troubleshooting any issue simple/complex issue related to SharePoint
  7. Monitoring the daily issue and resolve any application development or administration + maintain SharePoint servers and resolved any issues on the server environment
  8. Support all kind of SharePoint User requests especially in regards to user permissions/access management.
  9. Perform migration of SharePoint Sides with ShareGate.
  10. Prepared documentation of the various configurations in the systems, various policies and procedures, Web application development.
  11. Maintain the configuration of the SharePoint sites, administraton and development
  12. Able to solve 2nd/3rd level Incidents
  13. Problem Management and able to work with ServiceNow (ITSM tool)
  14. Handles complex error situations in Incidents
  15. Is able to analyze, solve complex overarching scenarios and
  16. Interacts with G+D internal support organisation as necessary during the Incident process .Sets priorities appropriately. Ensures that work outputs are timely and of the highest quality
  17. Reports on progress to the line manager, User Training if required
  18. Able to single handedly lead and manage complex SharePoint environments


Education & Trainings + Certifications: 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
  2. Certifications related to Microsoft SharePoint
  3. Good in ITIL Processes and usage
  4. SharePoint on-premise, cloud environment exposure
  5. Other trainings or certifications on SharePoint development/administration


Technical know how: (Mandatory)

  1. Experienced in providing support on Microsoft SharePoint servers on L2/L3 level for enterprise customers
  2. Very Good knowledge in SharePoint(2013) 2016/2019
  3. Extensive experience on SharePoint development platform and migration of sites/data
  4. Knowledge in regards to SharePoint designer and other dev tools
  5. Good exposure on
  6. Enhanced SharePoint Security Knowledge
  7. Very good understanding in SharePoint Rights Management
  8. Very good Experience in User Support via Phone and Mail
  9. Strong troubleshooting skills on SharePoint server incl. troubleshooting SharePoint logs, Should be able to solve most of the complex issues on SharePoint
  10. Basic Microsoft SQL Knowledge especially Monitoring and optimization as well as Basic SQL Scripting
  11. Good PowerShell Scripting knowledge and experience
  12. Experience in Monitoring/Troubleshooting Windows Server
  13. Good knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Office suite Office components
  14. Experience with a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment will be an advantage 


Technical know how:  (Good to have)

  1. Nintex Forms & Workflow Administration incl. creation of simple Nintex Forms & Workflows
  2. Knowledge and experience with Forms, HR Encryptions, Charting tools
  3. Experience with industry tools like Bamboo Encrypt, Infowise, Docread  tools
  4. Good knowledge and experience SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business
  5. Basic knowledge of SysKit Monitoring and Reporting
  6. Familiar with additional Add-on for SharePoint
  7. Experience with a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment will be an advantage 
  8. Knowledge of third party tools for encryption and forms
  9. Knowledge of doc reading and charting tool
