Sr. HR Business Partner

The role reports to Director – HR and is responsible to manage a team of 100+ R&D professionals. The primary interface is with the cross- functional business functions to provide solutions and advise on a wide range of both strategic and day-to-day human capital matters. The HR Business Partner operates both as “Business HR ” and serves as credible & trusted advisors to provide solutions and recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness and ultimately drive improved business outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Advise and work as a true HR partner to the Business Team and Business Leaders.
  • Working in close association with business units and functional leaders to drive Organizational Effectiveness .
  • Help set and deliver against the Corporate HR objectives and business objectives; being accountable for results. Implementing and adapting corporate and global HR policy.
  • Help develop and coordinate the realization of the roadmap and strategy for and implementing HR based programs and initiatives.
  • Establish and set the day-to-day priorities for the business teams.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human resources management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in R& D Function
  • The position requires experience working in high-quality environments where the work exposed and required you to performance a wide variety of approaches, practices, systems and thinking, including experience in mid-to-large, global companies.

Critical Skills Requirement :

  • The ideal candidate should have experience in technology based R&D organization with sound knowledge of HR practices, principles and procedure preferably in matrix Organization.
  • Experience of managing small & large HR projects, including defining scope, driving deliverables, meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Well-developed analytical skills and problem-solving skills, and the ability to “connect the dots” between the business needs and how we can best meet those needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills, and a track record of effectively communicating with and influencing at all levels.
  • Have a strong sense of pride, accountability and ownership and focus on continuous improvement .
  • Be highly organized, detail oriented and a stickler for accuracy
  • Be collaborative and have a track record for working in a matrix environment and successfully operate across organizations and levels
  • Have a point of view and the confidence/courage to (appropriately) challenge assumptions, coupled with a high level of professionalism and finesse to push through issues .
  • Challenge status quo and help develop new age solutions to enhance the HR &Business organization.
