Objective :

We're seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with experience in conceptualization, design, development, and testing complex mechatronic systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles and be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and resolving system issues. The individual will also play a key role in assessing product viability, including feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessment.

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct project viability assessments with co-ordination with product management and other team members of systems management team. Detail activities involve technical feasibility studies , cost analysis and risk assessment.

  • Translate customer requirements into technical requirements and review development/ integration with respect to requirements.

  • Design system architecture and ensure interdisciplinary alignment .

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated system design . Propose system design models, specifications, concept & diagrams to provide direction to system programmer and subsystem / development teams.

  • Lead multidisciplinary collaboration efforts, including software , electronics, electrical and mechanical engineering teams.

  • Manage risk throughput the product development life-cycle, including technical risk identification , analysis and mitigation planning along with cross-functions.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to system engineering team on system thinking concepts.

  • Understand verification and validation plans in accordance to system requirements . Monitor, system functional test and test system performance, prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports

  • Have understanding of compliance accordance to regulatory standards

  • Manage change control processes and ensure that changes are documented and tracked throughput the life-cycle of the product.

  • Troubleshoot and support the team in resolving system level issues

Education & Trainings:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechatronics , Electronics/ biomedical engineering  or a related field in Engineering. M Tech : system engineering

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechatronics system design and development

  • Strong understanding of mechanical , electrical and software engineering principles and their application in mechatronic systems.

  • Proficiency in tools like - DOORS, ALM, Microsoft Azure , Windchill , Teamcenter etc.

  • Experience with programming languages such as C , C++ , Python

  • Knowledge of control systems, sensors and actuators

  • Excellent problem-solving , analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.

  • Understanding of processes like DFM , DFA and serviceability concepts 
    Understanding of 3D CAD software’s and hand-on experience.
