Threat and Vulnerability Specialist

Objective -

• This is a Senior role in the Cyber Defense Center, where a candidate is expected to perform & analyze the vulnerability scan results and enrichment to provide information to the system owners in the G+D subsidiaries.
• The professional to suggest security measures & must design various strategies and defensive systems against intruders.

Tasks and Responsibilities - 

• Analyze data from threat and vulnerability feeds and analyze data for applicability to the G+D environment.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive process to care for all vulnerabilities .
• Provide critical analyses and information from vulnerability data which can be leveraged to enhance the security
• Respond to & manage remediation of prioritized vulnerabilities and unpatched systems
• Alerting to local security management in case of potential security incident detected by CDC and support during the root cause analysis
• CDC point of contact to support investigation and analysis of root causes during security incident response
• Research of reliable sources to identify new threats to G+D, analysis and development of new threat detection capabilities
• Development and implementation of new use cases to detect potential security incidents.
• Identify critical flaws in applications and systems that cyber attackers could exploit.

Degree & Qualifications - 

• University degree in Computer Science. Information Systems or equivalent
• Strong knowledge/Hands on in Vulnerability management tool (Qualys)
• Cloud Certifications /Knowledge in Cloud Security technologies
• Other Security certifications
• Exposure of performing Risk assessment and Business Impact Analysis.
