Regional Service Sales Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Regional Service Sales Manager drives sustainable and profitable service revenue growth within the assigned territory / customers. The role is accountable for the full Service-Attach lifecycle from initial attach to contract renewal, upsell, and cross-sell and is accountable for maximizing attach rates, growing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and achieving service sales targets.
This encompasses driving contract sales initiatives, enabling indirect service attach, maximizing contract renewals, proactively identifying up- and cross-selling opportunities, and continuously expanding into adjacent revenue streams and new monetization potential.
As part of the account team, the Regional Service Sales Manager supports large and non-standard opportunities by contributing to the service solution design (together with Field Service & Support and Service Backbone Operations) and by providing pricing and commercial positioning. The role requires close collaboration with Solution Sales, Key Account Sales, and Service Channel Management to ensure aligned go-to-market execution and a consistent customer and partner approach. The Regional Service Sales Manager acts as a role model for value-based selling.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Work with Product Sales early in the deal so a fitting service contract is offered alongside the product, and track how often that actually happens across the territory.
- Work with Product Sales to enable them to sell standard services self-sufficiently.
- Achieve attach-rate targets.
- Initiate and implement contract sales initiatives.
- Maximise the implementation of digital service solutions.
- Bring the service angle into large or non-standard deals from the start, and make sure the service scope and pricing in the offer hold up commercially.
- Participate in large, non-standard projects as part of the account team.
- Design the service solution in close collaboration with Field Service & Support and Service Backbone Operations.
- Support pricing and commercial positioning for non-standard service agreements.
- Keep the service sales pipeline up to date in CRM and give Head of Service Sales a dependable monthly forecast for the territory / customers.
- Proactively work on contract renewals, maximizing contract renewal rates.
- Identify CTCS up-/cross-selling opportunities, share them with account teams, and align on the way forward.
- Expand the service revenue base by identifying and developing adjacent business opportunities outside of our core operating areas.
- Actively support service portfolio rollout in the region, while continuously channelling regional insights and requirements into portfolio management.
- Negotiate non-standard service agreements.
- Work closely with Solution Sales, Key Account Sales, and Channel Management.
- Present a unified front to customers and partners.
- Be a role model for the value-selling approach.
- Leverage AI and digital tools actively and responsibly to improve sales effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval guidelines, and applicable regulations.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management or related field.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3-5 years' proven track record in B-B Sales roles, preferably Service/Solution Sales and/or Service Business Development
- Sales driven, results/action-oriented and self-motivating
- Profound experience in value selling techniques
- Solid experience in using CRM / pipeline and forecast management tools

- Professional in main language in the assigned territory and English
