Sustainability Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dynamic, open-minded and solution-oriented Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) with experience in defining, implementing, managing and enforcing sustainability goals for our Currency Management Solutions division dealing with Solutions for cash cycle management. In your role, your focus will be to proactively shape the offering portfolio of G+D Currency Management Solutions towards a step-change in carbon footprint for G+D as well as our customers. Developing new solutions and business models that enable our customers and G+D to save carbon emissions as well as costs is the royal discipline of sustainability management and the specific objective of this position You will work closely with G+D Corporate Sustainability and with other teams, cutting across product management, global sales, R&D and many more.

Your tasks:

• Take responsibility for the development of sustainability targets and KPIs based on the overall company strategy

• Provide guidance for the development of existing and new portfolio offerings in close collaboration with product management, R&D, the global sales team and customers

• Prepare relevant life cycle assessments and product carbon footprint calculations to support green-product development processes for machines and factories

• Develop and implement training concepts on sustainability to steer international projects with global teams

• Further develop and steer product-related sustainability-benchmarks and reporting taking into account regional regulatory requirements

• Monitor and analyze competition, development of trends and thus derive measures to position us as the global leader for sustainability solutions to all cash cycle stakeholders

• Translate strategy into a clear action plan, leveraging sustainability as a clear differentiator in the market, including development and trial of new business models enhancing our sustainability value proposition offering

• Establish a network and represent the company at external events, international conferences, at customers, as well as in internal committees to improve our sustainability expertise, performance and reputation

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies, preferably with links to the topic of sustainability

• Several years of professional experience in sustainability management

• Demonstration of successful leadership in the transformation towards a sustainable offering portfolio, sustainability-enhancing internal processes as well as the development of respective business models

• Demonstrated track record in leading and coordinating global functional teams to achieve well defined project results without disciplinary authority

• Experience of working with global teams and various cultures

• Very good technical understanding capabilities and willingness to quickly learn technical requirements and details of the existing portfolio

• Very good analytical skills and a feeling for innovation

• Very good skills in organizing and facilitating meetings and projects

• Excellent communication skills across all organizational and hierarchical levels, as well as very good knowledge of German and English
