Working Student (m/f/d) Digitalization Projects - Focus on Power BI

We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) to support our Currency Technology business unit in digitalization projects. The core of the role is the development of an automated Order-Review-Dashboard, which enables transparent and efficient monitoring of all active production orders in banknote manufacturing. The goal is to create a harmonized Power BI solution for both printing sites, integrating production, cost, and process data and visualizing them centrally.

Your tasks:

• Development and continuous enhancement of a Power BI dashboard for the automated analysis of ongoing production orders
• Creation of a high‑performance data model (incl. DAX measures, KPIs, relationships, and logical structures) for production, process, and cost data
• Design of intuitive and user‑focused visualizations for operational and strategic decision‑makers
• Identification, preparation, and visualization of deviations, patterns, and trends
• Documentation of data models, dashboards, and analytical workflows

Your profile:

• Enrolled student (m/f/d) in Data Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics
• Alternatively: enrolled in another degree program with strong interest in digitalization, data analysis, and BI tools (especially Power BI)
• Ideally interested in operations management
• Independent and structured working style with high motivation to learn new tools and methods
• Enjoys understanding complex relationships and preparing and visualizing them in a clear and structured manner
• Ideally, first practical experience in data modeling, process analysis, or digital end‑to‑end processes
• Enrolled for at least another 18 months and available for ideally at least 12 months
• Confident use of common MS Office applications and interest in Power BI and AI‑based solutions
