Service Engineer & Automation Engineers KSA
Scope and Purpose:
- Maintenance, repair, upkeep, cleaning, the management/ provision of spare parts, fault elimination (resp. easy troubleshooting) of all cash automation hardware components within the MBCC Dammam.
- Responsible for installation, maintenance and service of Vault Automation Equipment for a customer based in Saudi Arabia.
- Ensure high service quality; build up a strong link to MBCC operational staff based on technical excellence and reliability.
Key Result Areas & Responsibilities:
- Cash automation hardware components to be maintained are:
- Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
- Robots
- Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) like stacker cranes
- Offline shredding system
- Racks
- Roller-conveyor
- Control cabinets
- First & second Level Support for the customers by analysis of customer requests and reported problems.
- Reporting and escalation of more complex problems to third level
- Regular customer communication regarding the status of their requests and progress of their solutions.
- Conduct In-house and On-site trainings for users as needed
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of MHS
- Install other G&D products as per requirements
- Hands-on integration, modifying and repair of AGVs, their supporting equipment and systems controls to meet required specifications
- Assist in developing necessary project processing parameters with the applications engineers
- Provide AGV and system programming assistance
- Ensures compliance with all company safety rules and procedures
- Ensures accuracy of the AGV process. Analyzes daily equipment and process flow effectiveness and takes corrective action, and follows up on corrective actions through completion.
- Writes process procedures and trains his team members.
- Provides clear and succinct feedback to equipment suppliers on operational problems and needs. Follows solutions through to implementation by active follow up.
- Implements and maintains Preventive maintenance schedule
- Inspects work performed by team members.
- Tracks and logs workers time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.
Job Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering / Electro Mechanical Degree in Engineering, or similar education
- Successfully completed professional training as an industrial mechanic with electronic knowledge (mechatronics engineers) and have prerequisite for being trained in the specific S7 application
- Convincing skills through excellent grasp of technology, ability to work under a lot of pressure and independent and meticulous way of working
- A distinct consciousness of quality and safety, as well as absolute adherence to delivery dates.
- Willing to work in different shifts if work demands
- Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills in English
- Fluency in Arabic is required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Efficient in dealing with time pressure, budget constraints and setting priorities
