JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for coordinating overall shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Conduct shipping/receiving for shipping, including picking product, labeling, packaging product, and facilitating scheduling shipment using the routing guidelines
- Load and unload trucks, vans or other transportation vehicles with boxes or materials
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements, including product identification, packaging, carriers, routing and billing requirements
- Ensure the appropriate work environment organization, housekeeping and cleanliness
- Maintain inventory management and assist with physical inventory
- Perform related job duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Prior experience with forklift, issuing material, sheet destruction and vault issuance of materials
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and teamwork mentality
- Understanding and willingness to follow safety and quality control procedures
- Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week plus occasional overtime as needed
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong planning, organizational and counting skills along with flexibility and the ability to make decisions
- Willingness to take part in our background check and drug test process
- Ability to lift up to 50 pound boxes
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per day
- Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals
- Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner
Pay ranges from $20–$22/hour, based on the role, level, and shift.
