Job Summary:
In this highly analytical and hands-on role, you will help drive smarter supply chain decisions by identifying trends, resolving inefficiencies, and ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time. You’ll collaborate with teams across production, quality, and procurement to support seamless operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve planning and production scheduling through real-time analysis and proactive adjustments.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Examine customer forecasts and order activity to adjust inventory and production plans accordingly using SAP, Salesforce, backlog, and WIP reports.
- Modify schedules to respond to rapidly shifting demand, material or labor shortages, or production issues, while maintaining coordination with stakeholders.
- Recommend and manage safety stock levels to meet internal goals and customer expectations.
- Investigate process inefficiencies and develop practical, data-backed solutions.
- Support Quality Assurance by helping resolve vendor-related issues and material discrepancies.
- Coordinate third-party material processing and external services.
- Contribute to lean initiatives, Kaizen projects, and continuous improvement efforts using methodologies like root cause analysis and the 5 Whys.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations planning.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Power Query and other advanced data functions.
- Experience working with MRP systems, automated planning tools, and inventory control processes.
- Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions from written, verbal, visual, and schedule-based inputs.
The pay range for this position is $78,038 - $85,830 per year and is eligible for an annual bonus.
