Are you a customer focused leader who can drive efficient and quality oriented results through your team?  We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to help lead our day to day operations on the 2nd shift.  In this role, you’ll be the front line leader and decision maker for the team as they ensure our customer’s needs are met.

 

Duties & Responsibilities  

 

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively address any areas needing improvement. Implement preventive maintenance, safety protocols, and inventory control measures to uphold our high standards.
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the creation and upkeep of policies that optimize Vault and Warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and fostering a culture of efficiency.
  • Customer Focus: Uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee customer satisfaction. Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries and concerns, maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with Logistics, Planning, and Purchasing teams to coordinate efficient transport logistics, enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Provide clear direction and support to your team, ensuring roles and responsibilities are well-defined and executed with precision. Foster a collaborative environment where success is a shared goal.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives like 5S methodology to optimize space and streamline processes, driving continuous improvement across all warehouse activities

 

Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements

 

  • Associates degree required, bachelors degree preferred or 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production setting
  • Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Above average computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
  • SAP or ERP experience required
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize with high attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
  • Understanding of general safety requirements
  • Forklift operation experience a must

 

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Able to climb ladders
  • Able to stand or sit for long periods at a time
