DESARROLLADOR R&D PRODUCTION SOFTWARE EQUIPO KMS

At Giesecke+Devrient, a global leader in SmartCards and Secure Payment Elements, we are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our R&D Production Software Department in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona).

In this team, we develop internal software applications for the production of cards – primarily credit cards and SIM cards – using Microsoft Visual Studio and mainly the C# programming language. Your work will help streamline production processes, optimize workflows, and support our R&D and industrialization efforts.

You will join a collaborative and innovative environment where your contributions directly impact the efficiency, reliability, and quality of the products used by millions of people worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and improve internal production applications to enhance efficiency and support R&D activities.
• Program and validate software following company quality and security procedures.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals for internal tools.
• Provide user training and handle second-level support for production software.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and IT teams to identify needs and implement improvements.
  
  

Your Profile

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and programming languages such as C# and/or Visual C++.
• At least 4 years’ experience in software development, ideally in industrial or production environments.

Valuable additional skills:

• Microsoft platforms (Visual Studio, .NET – WCF, WP)
• Databases (MS SQL Server)
• Cryptography knowledge

Experience in embedded software or device control applications.

English level C1 minimum (reading documentation, writing emails, presenting technical topics). A test will be conducted during the interview.
