Join our Global Quality Management team and help us ensure excellence across all G+D EP card manufacturing sites worldwide. Your work will directly impact product reliability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic, international environment.
As Global Quality Coordination Manager, you will play a key role in defining and implementing global quality standards, monitoring performance, and driving process improvements across multiple manufacturing sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, act as the first escalation point for quality crises, and foster a culture of quality excellence.
Key Objectives
• Define, monitor, and continuously improve global process quality standards.
• Analyze quality and manufacturing KPIs to support proactive decision-making.
• Lead initiatives to reduce CONQ and customer complaints globally.
• Promote and coordinate process improvements across sites in collaboration with Card Excellence, R&D, and Operations.
• Support global standardization activities from a quality perspective.
• Act as the first global escalation point for quality crises or critical situations.
• Foster a global quality culture through training and capability-building programs.
Responsibilities
• Implement operational quality initiatives aligned with G+D EP strategic goals.
• Monitor and evaluate global quality performance (e.g., customer complaints, scrap rates) and support corrective actions.
• Define, deploy, and maintain an up-to-date global control plan and traceability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and control improvements.
• Coordinate with all manufacturing sites to define acceptance/rejection criteria and maintain aligned defect catalogues.
• Support operations in load balancing while ensuring consistent quality standards.
• Provide input for MES development and assist in implementing digital and predictive quality tools.
• Identify and help mitigate quality-related risks in global operations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and support crisis management efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
• Engineering degree in Material Science, Electronics, or Manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience in a production environment.
• 5+ years of experience in an international organization.
• Proven track record in a Quality organization.
• Experience interacting with Operations (Supply Chain, Engineering) and R&D.
• Strong organizational skills and a constant drive for quality excellence.
Knowledge & Skills
• Background in smart card manufacturing industry is desirable.
• Knowledge of quality systems, methods, and problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, risk assessment).
• Data-driven and objective-based decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
