PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Main responsibilities and focus is to control documented information and implement effective changes to boost production and reduce waste and cost at GDZAEP. Ensure all departments follow the company’s procedures and applicable regulatory standards. To ensure employee participation and motivation in continuous improvement.
The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:
- Developing quality standardized operating procedures and best practices.
- Support the development and execution of quality control procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and CQM standards.
- Troubleshoot: Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on products, materials, or processes, documenting findings accurately.
- Ensure all quality documentation is up to date and readily available for audits
- Work closely with production, process engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process enhancements.
- Assist in root cause analysis for quality incidents and support the implementation of improvements.
- Involvement in the risk management committee, risk identification and analysis
- To also ensure that their job goals are completed by striving for Quality, Trust and Security at all times
MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in QMS or related fields.
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a Quality assurance and quality control role
- Hands-on experience working with ISO 9001 or similar QMS systems, including exposure to internal audits, document control and compliance monitoring
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and effective communication
