JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Director of Client Development for Payment Solutions/Banking will be responsible for direct and indirect sales of products and services to end-user clients in these markets. This is a sales position with responsibilities focused on closing opportunities and managing key customers within the Payment Solutions/Banking market segments. The individual in this role must be able to articulate solutions and product positioning to business stakeholders, technical users, systems integrators and business partners. This role will be responsible to execute the sales strategy for designated markets and accounts and deliver results.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Execute against sales quota and create long-term relationships with customers and prospective future buyers for Payment Solutions/Banking products and services.
  • Work closely with internal and external cross functional teams in response to market needs.
  • Exhibit strong presentation, communication and delivery skills along with the ability to prepare quotations and proposals for product, services and solutions.
  • Travel to and professionally represent G+D at sales and marketing activities, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Participate and contribute in sales team planning sessions with other members of the sales and management team.
  • Management of the sales pipeline and an accurate forecast through the use of salesforce.
  • Empower others within the organization through transfer of knowledge and relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine content messaging around key prospects and campaigns.
  • Work closely with the management team, communicating challenges with new opportunities, identifying new product enhancements and features and assisting with the coordination of project implementations.
  • Perform related job duties as needed and assigned.
  • 3 – 5 years sales experience identifying opportunities and selling
  • Demonstrated knowledge of selling to large buying organizations and strategic selling skillsStrong research and strategic analysis skills, and technical expertise
  • Champion market share growth of G+D by seeking out new opportunities. Develop, coordinate and implement a sales plan to add clients and capture new opportunities.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, social selling and other available methods, perform follow-up activities, meeting with key prospects, clients and partners in order to establish/grow relationships.
  • Actively qualify and sell opportunities with a differentiation strategy to provide value to clients/prospects.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of market developments, projects, competitive activity, client movements, etc. through research, industry conference attendance and regular client-facing meetings.
  • Responsible for RFP/RFQ/Tenders as well as scoping and proposing new business within a defined account base.
  • Develop and present pricing proposals, negotiate and close product and service sales with prospects in conformity with internal cost and pricing guidelines ensuring alignment with involved stakeholders.
  • Ownership of contract management for MSA and SOW’s for all business.
  • Consider and meet compliance and information security requirements in pre-sales and sales of services.
