Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Process Expert with strong accounting knowledge and experience in the FI SAP module, for the worldwide Giesecke+Devrient Group. The position provides the opportunity to work within the Regional Center Americas with an international team of SAP process and application experts. The role is an essential part of our initiative to enlarge our SAP team and further enhance and strengthen our partnership with our users. By doing that, we want to ensure that business will find a strong partner on our side, being trusted in supporting the daily business, following their growth and bringing the outside in, by offering them new perspectives and solutions. Besides handling the requests coming from the users, the position also requires participating in SAP projects and SAP rollouts on a global scale. Due to our fast-changing business environment, shifts in priorities and ad hoc requests, flexibility is key to success.
Responsibilities
- Effective functional user support globally in the area of SAP Finance and preferably also SAP FSCM
- Participation in projects (S/4 transformation, roll outs, post-merger integration, upgrades, etc.) in the role of SAP Finance Business Analyst
- Reviewing, detailing and challenging business requirements and translating the same in viable SAP solutions
- Design and optimization of process solutions in SAP Finance and SAP FSCM
- Document creation (Functional Specification, User manuals, Test cases etc.)
- Key user community facilitation, knowledge sharing and know-how transfer within the community
Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements
Work Experience:
- More than 3 years of experience in the field of SAP Finance (must) and SAP FSCM processes (optional). Customizing knowledge is a big plus, as well as knowledge of the integration of the SAP Finance module with the SAP logistic modules
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven knowledge in accounting theory (e.g. IFRS,) or background as certified accountant is a big plus (e.g. Certified Internation Accountant)
- Strong understanding of systems, processes and data structures
- Independent, result-oriented and proactive working style
- Autonomous “self-starter” mentality, but team player
- Strong communication skills (within Group services and with the user community)
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is a prerequisite, German is appreciated
Education:
- University degree or equivalent qualification
