ABOUT THE ROLE


Are you an experienced machine operator looking for your next challenge? G+D Australia is seeking skilled and motivated Machine Operators to join our morning/afternoon production team in the Mailing and Perso areas. If you have a passion for quality, safety, and operational excellence, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to procedures and guidelines in the Mailing and Perso areas.
  • Perform quality assurance and visual checks using QC Matrix to ensure production meets customer standards.
  • Accurately reconcile and report daily production, file selection, and work order processing.
  • Conduct mechanical adjustments and consumable changes as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure work area, complying with OH&S, Security, Quality, and Environmental policies.
  • Foster effective communication and relationships within all departments.
  • Undertake other duties as allocated within the scope of your skill set.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a machine operator, ideally in a mailing, perso, or production environment.
  • High-level machine operator skills, including experience with computer-controlled machinery and mechanical adjustments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and high numerical reasoning.
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation, and multitasking skills.
  • Effective team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence (car).
  • Ability to perform manual handling (up to 10 kg), stand for long periods (up to 7+ hours per day), and operate keyboard/PC (approx. 4-7 hours per day).
