Senior AI Governance and Delivery Lead

Job Summary

Giesecke+Devrient is a globally leading SecurityTech company. We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused AI Governance and Delivery Lead to join G+D’s new AI Hub.

The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in AI strategy, governance, portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise delivery leadership with the ability to translate complex business priorities into structured, high-impact AI initiatives.

This role is responsible for establishing and operating the governance, prioritization, delivery, and adoption framework required to scale AI across the enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities

AI Governance & Responsible AI

• Define and operate the AI governance framework for the AI Hub
• Establish governance forums, decision rights, escalation paths, and steering mechanisms
• Coordinate AI Advisory Boards, executive steering committees, and governance reviews

Portfolio Management & Prioritization

• Own the AI use case intake, assessment, and prioritization process
• Develop and maintain a portfolio view of AI initiatives across divisions
• Track roadmap evolution, dependencies, and investment allocation

Delivery Oversight & Value Realization

• Establish and operate delivery governance across AI squads and initiatives
• Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress
• Define and monitor business KPIs, value realization metrics, and adoption indicators

Change Management & Adoption

• Lead enterprise AI adoption and change management initiatives
• Develop communication and rollout plans for AI-enabled workflows and products
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements

Work Experience: 

• Eight (8)+ years of experience in strategy, governance, consulting, transformation, product delivery, or enterprise program leadership
• Three (3)+ years of experience specifically in AI, Data, or Advanced Analytics strategy and governance

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong expertise in AI governance, portfolio management, delivery governance, roadmap planning, stakeholder engagement, and change management
• Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation skills
• Bilingual French-English strongly preferred
• Experience working in regulated industries is a strong asset

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, Engineering, Management, Data, or related field preferred
