G+D, ePayments is looking for an Senior Smart Card Security Solutions Expert (m/f/d) to lead our smart card product innovations and system solutions for cyber security and Authentication into potential market use cases. This position is of strategic importance to the successful market development of G+D, and the ideal candidate will play a key role in contributing to innovation and commercial success. 

As senior product manager, you will help make global cyber risks manageable by driving the development of smart card–based security solutions that strengthen our customers’ resilience. You will act as a technical expert, working closely with a global development team while supporting sales in delivering optimal security solutions across industries worldwide. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Coordinate the development of smart card–based security solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market requirements 
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, collaborating closely with global engineering and development teams 
  • Translate complex cybersecurity requirements into scalable and effective solution designs 
  • Partner with sales teams to provide technical guidance and support customer engagements across various industries 
  • Advise customers on the optimal deployment and integration of security solutions to enhance resilience 
  • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions based on market trends and customer feedback 

 

Key Qualifications 

 

  • Completed university degree, preferably in business, engineering, IT, or a related field. 
  • Experience in product management, customer-facing roles and business development is a plus. 
  • Strong technical background in authentication technologies, cybersecurity, , PQC and/or smart card solutions; thought leader in the use of new technologies. 
  • Knowledge of the market globally and strong understanding of key market developments and customer needs. 
  • Proven experience in coordinating or managing technical solution development in a global environment. 
  • Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives, supporting both engineering and sales functions. 
  • Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both English and German.
