DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer focused on automation and reliability to build and operate our CI/CD pipelines and on‑premises platforms while ensuring robust monitoring, support, and system stability.

 

Your Responsibilities

Automation, Pipelines & Platform

•  Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of software across sites and datacenters.
•  Operate and evolve our on-premises Kubernetes and legacy platform hosting applications.
•  Drive consistency of deployed software and configuration across sites by automating deployments and infrastructure provisioning (Infrastructure as Code).
•  Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency, repeatability, and scalability.

 

Reliability, Monitoring & Support

•  Set up and maintain consistent monitoring, logging, and alerting
•  Handle support requests via the service ticketing system, phone, and email; lead escalations, route issues to the right teams, and drive them to resolution.
•  Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Post-Mortems with operations teams; feed findings back into product and process improvements.
•  Support automated testing of new software releases and engage in performance analysis and system tuning.

 

Your Profile

Education & Experience

•  Completed technical education, university degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
•  Several years of experience in DevOps, SRE, IT operations, or production software engineering. Prior IT Service Desk / 2nd-level support experience is a plus.

 

Core Technical Skills

•  Containers & Orchestration: Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes on-premises (cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, security).
•  CI/CD & Automation: Strong experience designing and running pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
•  Operating Systems: Solid system administration in both Linux and Windows ecosystems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server).
•  Applications: Experience operating and troubleshooting Java applications in production environments.
•  Databases: Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle.
•  Virtualization & Networking: Experience with VMware ESXi; basic LAN/network troubleshooting.
•  Software Engineering fundamentals: understanding of microservices and data architectures.
•  Observability: experience with monitoring/alerting stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

•  Self-starter who takes initiative, learns continuously, and works well independently and across teams.
•  Strong communication and collaboration skills — shares knowledge, gives and receives feedback well, communicates with empathy.
•  A passion for automation, observability, and reliability.
•  Fluent in English (written and spoken).
