The Software Engineer is primarily responsible for the 1st & 2nd level support for chip personalization software, card reader and HSM hardware.

It is also responsible for the 1st and 2nd level support for Shoopflor management software and Data Generation software.

Software Engineer has to work on support requests managed in service ticketing system. Further communication channels are telephone, email, teams, etc.

 

Next to remote support of the G+D sites for production software, the software engineer has to offer onsite support and user trainings.  Business trips could be executed on planned basis or on short notice.

 

Will be also responsible for the preparation and deployment of our solutions at client installations and support them by remote or onsite. Will be responsible for building a positive relationship with a client after they sign a contract. Deals with solving any problem that a client may have with our solutions.

 

Furthermore the software engineer has to work as team member in client setup or site projects.

Your Duties

- He has to work on support requests managed in service ticketing system. Further communication channels are telephone and email.

Your profile

  • Successful and completed technical education, a university degree in computer science (optional), or a similar field.
  • Experience as IT Specialist (m/f) or a comparable one.
  • Experience in operating system MS Windows 10/ Windows Server.
  • Several years of related IT Service Desk, or operations experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analyzing skills.
  • Experience in MS Office Programs  .
  • Basic knowledge in PC-network (LAN).
  • Basic knowledge with data base systems like MS SQL Server (optional).
  • Very organized, quality consciousness.
  • Able to work accurate even under pressure.
  • Solution orientation.
  • No past criminal records.
  • Possess initiative and drive for self-learning and improvement.
  • Good communication skills – Fluent communication in English.
  • Self-starter, pro-active and able to work independently and in all levels.
