We are happy to find you, an experienced Senior Software Developer m/w/d for Key Management Systems. The most well-known brands from the Telecommunication, Automotive and IoT Market Segment trust in our software solutions around the globe. 

You will work in the software development team for the "Subscription Management” – personalization of SIMs and embedded SIMs (eSIMs). 

 

Your Tasks:

  • Implementing code in Java and C for key management systems (using High Security Modules (HSMs) like SafeNet and Utimaco)
  • Programming for the generation of certificates and keys, encrypting of data and creating of digital signatures for client-server applications and smart cards (SIM-Cards, embedded cards, virtual eSIMs) for devices in the GSM network.
  • Additionally the development of Java-based micro services and programming of crypto protocols (PKCS#11, JCE, HSM, PKI)
  • The implementation of SW by using security crypto algorithms (like DES, AES, Sha256, Milenage, ECC, …) and by using relational data bases (like Oracle) and the integration in the available infrastructure
  • Also the analysis of new requirements, the creation of concepts and the planning of adaptions of existing SW and implementing new SW belongs to your tasks
  • Another aspect of your work is the architecture, the design and the specification for the development of the secure communication between servers and smart cards
  • Also important is the implementation of automated UnitTests, the documentation of the code and third level support for production sites worldwide
  • The usage of tools like JIRA for the requirements engineering
  • You are part of an international and multidisciplinary team of Requirements Engineers, Embedded SW-Developers, IT Operations Engineers, Quality Managers and Customer Project Managers

 

Your Qualifications:

  • You have successfully completed technical studies e.g. computer science, electrotechnology, or comparable specialization
  • Profound experience in Java development (at least two years of experience in server based Java applications) is mandatory as well as experience in C
  • Knowhow in programming of crypto protocols (PKCS#11, JCE, HSM, PKI) and experience in the development of SW using and controlling HSMs and knowhow in cryptography, key management, encrypting and certificates are essential
  • Experience of relational data bases (like Oracle) is nice to have
  • Experience in the usage of tools like IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Jira, Confluence and Sonar is desirable
  • You like to work within an international team and on your own responsibility using agile methods
  • You are highly interested to learn new technologies
  • Important are good communication skills, being a team player and having high commitment 
  • Fluent in English, good communication skills in German would be beneficial
