Giesecke+Devrient is looking for a Bid Analyst (m/f/d) for the Headquarters in Munich as soon as possible limited for two years.

 Your responsibilities:

  • Own the RFx process throughout the EMEA region and ensure standard offerings are developed and maintained
  • Proactively manage and actively foresee internal needs related to bid management 
  • Create, edit and manage offers and quotations, including proposal templates, pricing documentation, approvals, reporting, etc. in accordance with established processes and branding
  • Optimize sales cycle and response time and be main interface for Solution Sales Manager/Account Manager regarding engagements/deals
  • Ensure compliance to RFx and proposal process and support information security requirements Evaluate, improve and add applicable work instructions 
  • Identify and address day-to-day continuous improvement activities  related to tools, procedures and compliance fulfilment 
  • Support department needs in Salesforce, including process manager, reporting and configuration requirements
  • Maintain knowledgebase of previous proposals
  • Track and analyze wins and losses for continuous improvement
  • Support solutions sales analysis for reporting and KPIs
  • Timely and accurate time reporting 



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or education with proven strong performance
  • Experience from bid management process as well as experience in contract / legal negotiations
  • Experience in writing customer proposals and reports and proficiency in commercial and technical topics 
  • Knowledge of proposal/RFx preparation and good understanding of cost calculation and financial impact analysis
  • Experience preferable in IT/Telecommunications industry and knowledge of Solution Sales Management, IT, cloud technologies and security information systems
  • Experience preferable with Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal skills across internal stakeholders
  • High degree of initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure, highly organized and quality conscious
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving mentality
  • Solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong verbal, written communications and listening skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
