Team Lead (m/f/d) Card and Card Issuance Customer Projects CEE

Giesecke+Devrient is looking for a Team Lead Card and Card Issuance Customer Projects CEE (m/f/d) for its Customer Project Management department at its Munich Headquarters as soon as possible.

Your tasks

• Functional lead of the the team for Card and Card Issuance Customer projects consisting of 6 experienced Project-Managers
• Responsible for overseeing all projects and activities assigned to the team, including resource management. 
• Accountable to ensure the team delivers projects on-scope, on-time and on-budget (the same applies for own projects).
• Responsible for implementing the strategy in the team and develop a plan to accomplish them. Actively identify improvement potentials within our processes and drive the implementation of the required changes.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure project success. 
• Coordinating and prioritizing resources within Portfolio across managed projects.
• Closely align with Sales Team on the project pipeline.
• First Level project escalations for issues within portfolio for internal and external clients.
• Expected to represent G+D in a professional manner for client engagements on the project and work closely with the Account Managers on client management

Your profile

• Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business administration or similar related degree
• Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience with proven results.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with and lead others in teams 
• Experience with EMV (Europay Mastercard Visa) chip and payment card industry is preferred.
• Experience in building and maintaining solid client relationships.
• Strong organizational skills to monitor all projects
• Analytical, detail-oriented with excellent planning and problem solving skills. 
• Superior verbal and written communications skills including presentation at every level of the organization 
• Effective and persuasive communication skills 
• Formal Project Management Qualification (e.g. IPMA, PMP) is an asset
• Fluent English skills, German is a plus
