Project Manager Connectivity - Embedded SW Development

At G+D Mobile Security, the world leader in secure telecommunications systems via SIM / eSIM, we are looking for a Project Manager Connectivity – Embedded SW Development

Tasks

• You are responsible for the planning, steering and implementation of major embedded software product creation projects in our division Trusted Connected Devices
• You need to manage various internal and external development teams from different sites
• Project scope is new product line or customer-specific development of SIM/eSIM device SW in  a complex project environment
• You will lead the project team in a matrix organization
• You will manage the project effectively within the given budget and time restrictions, and follow the given processes, like e.g. product lifecycle management and project management
• You know the demands of internal and external customers and make sure that these are satisfied in all project phase like initiation, implementation and transition
• You will evaluate and manage the risks and take mitigation measures
• You will frequently inform the Project Board and stakeholders about the project status
• You are requested to suggest and contribute to process, method and tool improvements

Profile

• You have a university degree in a technical, economic or natural science area
• You have profound experience in professional Project Management of complex IT projects with OEM/Tier1s in the automotive or telecommunications industry
• Preferably, you have dedicated experience in management of external SW development suppliers and ordering, test and integration of delivered components
• You have more than 5 years of experience as a Project or line Manager
• You are familiar with Project Management processes and methods
• As we apply Scrum, profound experience is requested
• An IPMA / PMI / PRINCE2 certification and/or Agile (Scrum Master, Product Owner) and/or ITIL v3/v4 certification is a plus
• Background and thorough experience as an embedded software developer/ tester/ architect/ requirements manager is an advantage, with a clear understanding of these areas
• You are engaging and motivating and already have intercultural experience
• You actively take the project responsibility, work self-organized and have a senior impression
• You are fluent in Spanish and English, German would be a plus
• You are flexible and open for changes, with a high market and customer-orientation
