Technical Account Manager (TAM) / Tech Companies
The Technical Account Management team (TAM team) is a bridge between G+D’s product portfolio and our “Techcompanies” or “TechComp” customers OEM/ODM and silicon providers who use our eOS software to enable cellular connectivity using xUICCs in Consumer and IoT devices.
As a Technical Account Manager region, you will be responsible for working with our global customer base and third-party solution providers, planning multiyear, multi-generational project engagements for TechComp customers.
You will drive new business opportunities alongside Key Account Managers (KAMs) and manage the overall technical aspects to build solid, successful, long-term partnerships.
You will be a technical expert with project/program management competence; you will exude an entrepreneurial drive, and have a passion for building trusted collaborations.

Your Tasks:
- Holistic technical pre-sales and project management of G+D’s products and solutions for TechComp customers: Global technology companies, semiconductor manufacturers, manufacturers of consumer and IoT devices and Private LTE-5GNR network providers
- Primary technical point of contact for customers/prospects (supported by multiple cross functional teams within G+D) ,analysis of customer requirements focusing on Embedded/Integrated SIM, Secure Elements and eSIM Management.
- Central technical contact for coordination of consultancy and requirements analysis for RFIs, RFPs and RFQs
- Proactive management of internal and external processes and interfaces to configure products and solutions to the customer's requirements
- Expert level know-how and usage of G+D dedicated tools and processes: needed for product configuration according to specific customer requirements and technology standards.
- Validation of products - internal and external. Final acceptance of products.
- Prepare and maintain high quality documentation and presentations for customer’s projects/ pre-sales and G+D products, processes etc.
- Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, safeguard the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges and ensure customer SLAs for various activities.
- Improve product feature offerings and quality by providing feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management, Business Development and Software Engineering / Test Teams.
- Maintain and grow high level of customer satisfaction and strong relationship with internal and external technical teams. Customer’s voice within the organization.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 3+ years wireless (GSM) communications smart card experience
- 3+ years of experience working directly with customers on technical requirements
- Knowledge of eSIM - GSMA ,3GPP 5G NR/ETSI, Global Platform ,ISO7816 – highly preferred
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written – English is essential)
- Professional experience in Technical Project Management, PM Certification (IPMA, PMI) – beneficial
