Technical Manager (Tools)
Requisites
-
B.E, BTECH or equivalent preferably in E&TC, Electronics, Computers, ME / MTech / MS preferred
-
MBA , Executive programs in Leadership & Management or equivalent would be an added advantage
-
Agile , Scrum Master certification would be an added advantage
-
14-18 years of experience, at least 4+ years’ of focused experience in people & delivery management handling customers in telecom Industry and delivering IT/ software products /tools (windows based)

Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, set targets & monitor progress

SDLC, Product Life Cycle Management
-
Sound experience in C++, VC++ / MFC, ATLCOM / Win32, C#(.Net), SQL database
-
Experience in Windows based tools / applications/. using VC++, C#(.net), WinForms is preferred
-
Hands-on experience in using Jira for backlog management, Kan-ban board, confluence for project docu like roadmaps, release management etc.

Project Management, Experience in managing projects & teams using Agile / Scrum methodologies

Proven knowledge to work in processes according to CMMI (Level 3)

Smart Card & Telecom domain expertise a big plus
Responsibilities
-
Managing employee lifecycle (Recruitment , onboarding, appraisals, career development, Exit) & disciplinary management of teams

Managing a team of resources engaged with local & global stakeholders across product management, engineering, architects, technical writers and operations

Providing technical leadership to the team (innovative suggestions, code reviews, Test reviews etc.)

Budget forecasting (S/W, H/W) , monitoring and controlling of same
-
Responsible to ensure complete compliance as per company standards & guidelines

Initiate change and drive continuous improvement and competence growth
-
Ability to reason around complex and difficult topics
-
Drive development projects e.g. clarify scope, organize scrum teams, resolve capacity & timeline conflicts

Continuous dialogue with staff in the context of coaching, team communication and scrum events

Handle customer queries as well as escalations

Managing all aspects of technology, including strategy, ongoing business needs assessment, software development and implementation
