We are looking for an experienced Demand Analyst.


The demand-planning department  of G+D is responsible for the development of a demand forecast. The primary role of the demand planner will be to develop a demand forecast using data such as sales inputs on Sales Force, shipment history Execution report. This position is a key driver in creating and managing the true customer demand signals by which to align the rest of the supply chain and company resources. The role will also be the link between the sales teams , management and all of supply chain planning.



•Develop and manage a forward looking (12 months) aggregated Financial Forecast and demand plan at Factory/Subsidiary  level

•Work with internal Sales and Marketing teams as well as Operations and Central Supply Chain to ensure accuracy and feasibility of  the demand plan

• Communicate risk & opportunities to the internal organization as a whole as needed.

•Participate in the monthly consensus forecast alignment process while acting as an internal advocate for the Sales Organization you represent

•Evaluate and incorporate analytics (when available)  in demand plan analysis where appropriate

•Facilitate the cross-functional connectivity required within the monthly Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process meetings in order to gain alignment to the consensus forecast, documenting and publishing forecast rationale and identification of risks and opportunities

•Perform monthly root cause analysis to identify sources of controllable forecast error and mitigate in future forecasts

•Review and publish monthly  forecast and organizational demand plan metrics

•Continuously improve demand plan accuracy and connectivity across organization  to ensure customer order service levels and inventory turns objectives are met



•Proven ability to think analytically

•Capability to work independently in a fast paced lean organization and be extremely organized and detail oriented

•Capability to  manage multiple tasks/projects, priorities and deadlines

•Understanding of statistical concepts and how/when to apply

• 3-5 years forecasting, modeling and demand planning experience

•Experience in creating and giving presentations at various levels of management

•Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal customers

•Minimum of an undergraduate degree, preferably economics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related business field

•Advanced computer software skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot tables)

•Fluent in spoken and written English,  other languages are appreciated (Spanish, German , French..)
