We're Hiring: Production Engineer
Veridos Matsoukis S.A., a leading Security Printing Company and proud member of the VERIDOS and G+D Group, is looking for a dynamic Production Engineer to join our team.
Τhe Production Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, quality, safety, and cost performance. The role contributes to Operational Excellence initiatives through data analysis, problem-solving, process optimization, and the implementation of continuous improvement projects across the production environment.
It offers the opportunity to work in an international and technologically advanced environment, contributing directly to the integrity and reliability of secure identity products used around the world.
Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer and be member of the Production and Operation Excellence Dept, your Key Responsibilities tasks include but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate existing production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement to increase efficiency, ensure product quality, and reduce waste and operational costs.
- Maintain and manage production data and support the organization and optimization of the shopfloor, including layouts, equipment, workstations, Visual Management, and 5S practices.
- Participate actively in daily Shopfloor Performance Dialogue Meetings (PDM), collecting and analyzing production loss data, identifying root causes, and maintaining the PDM database.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, support process improvements, and contribute to problem-solving activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and maintain relevant production documentation.
Working Environment
The Production Engineer works primarily within the manufacturing environment (shopfloor), collaborating closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Operational Excellence teams to enhance overall operational performance and support business objectives.
