Veridos Matsoukis S.A., a leading Security Printing Company and proud member of the VERIDOS and G+D Group, is looking for a dynamic Production Engineer to join our team.

The Production Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Key responsibilities involve analyzing and assessing current production methods, troubleshooting issues, implementing process improvements, ensuring  compliance with safety and quality standards, and managing production documentation and staff. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform process analysis and improvements through the evaluation of existing production methods and design of improvements to increase efficiency, ensure quality, reduce waste and cost.
• Troubleshooting: Support the departmental team leader, technical and maintenance team on problem diagnosis and solving, regarding production issues, equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Responsible along with production team on the shopfloor organization and maintenance (layouts, marking, stations, 5s, Visual Management).
• Actively participate as Process Expert in the ROS Performance Dialogue Meeting and calculate loss tree, define top losses based on frequency and duration and update PDM board.
• Align with Production leaders on establishing appropriate Optimum Settings, review and update related checklists, as well as train and coach operators on properly executing Optimum Settings activities & documenting/reporting their completion.
• Review Changeover Process and Changeover Assessment Form completion, train and coach operators on proper completion of Changeover Assessment Form to improve information quality to support the process, track variances in the process and take relevant actions to update existing standards.
• Lead SMED workshops for the line to improve the changeover process.
• Support the planning and execution of engineering projects, equipment upgrades and investment initiatives.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, make recommendations for process improvements, justify capital expenditures and support problem-solving sessions.
• Support the documentation of production and maintenance related forms, checklists and procedures e.g., SOPs, OPLs, and CILs.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies (MES, IoT, SCADA) to increase efficiency and visibility.
• Support building operator’s capability on Lean Methods/tools (e.g. 8 types of waste, 5s), processes (SOPs).

Member of the Production and Operational Excellence department and direct report to the Senior Production Engineer.
