Sr. Citrix Administrator

Objective Of This Role:

G+D’s IT Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) is the global delivery and support operations center for G+D groups’ global locations and subsidiaries. EOC manages the IT Infrastructure (Server /Datacenter, collaboration and Messaging, Network LAN/ WAN / Wi-Fi and Firewall security) and Enterprise IT Applications (predominantly SAP portfolio) along with Mobile  Applications Platforms as well. The center is also accountable for delivering high value  and high visibility IT projects & programs across various IT domains.

As Sr. Citrix Administrator, you have to provide high-level technical expertise in the area of Citrix administration. Person should be able to install, administer and troubleshoot issues in Citrix environments and VDI solution. Further, this individual would be responsible to ensure that the established processes to meet the regulatory and G&D corporate security requirements are respected and optimized, in a fast paced and critical environment. You need to develop the strategy and ensure the operation, integration into the infrastructure services and interact with the business to ensure a maximum of usability.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  1. Should have strong experience in managing Citrix environment and understanding of Citrix VDI solution.
  2. Should have installed, administered & managed the following components:
  3. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Provisioning Services 7.x
  4. Citrix ADC/Netscaler                                                              
  5. Citrix Storefront                                                                        
  6. Citrix Profilemanagement                                                        
  7. Windows Server 2016  
  8. Possess experience in administrating Windows 10, Active Directory, Group Policies.
  9. Should possess good knowledge on Powershell.
  10. Able to do effectively consult with end-users/Stakeholders, understand the issue and suggest resolution.
  11. Scale out new VMs and delete existing VMs as per Business requirement.
  12. Able to understand the user-requirements, articulate technically, propose and deploy solution.
  13. Hands on experience in debugging and fixing production related problems that are escalated.
  14. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and maximum excellence.
  15. Should possess good analytical & troubleshooting skills and be able to collaborate with other teams to fix issues.
  16. Perform daily health checks of production environment, analyze open alarms/events & further troubleshoot issues.
  17. Conduct bottleneck evaluation to identify performance issues in production environment.
  18. Ensure backup configuration is adequately configured.
  19. Knowledge on Problem Management and able to work with ServiceNow (ITSM tool).
  20. Interacts with G+D internal support organisation as necessary during the Incident process. Sets priorities appropriately and ensures that work outputs are timely and of the highest quality.

 

Education & Trainings + Certifications: 

 

  1. University Degree and Certifications in the technology related field.
  2. Training & Certification in Citrix administration and management.
  3. ITIL Certifications
  4. Knowledge of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is desirable
