Location: G+D Rosebank Offices 
Department: Supply Chain Department 

Reporting to: Head of Supply Chain 

 

Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Order Management team by carrying out general administrative duties and placing ensuring the successful

and smooth execution of all internal and external purchase orders and at the same time ensuring customer satisfaction is met. This role involves organizing and storing documents,

making purchase orders, updating records, and responding to order issues.

 

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

 

  • Deal with Customer orders/requests by providing the deliverable according to the Service Level Agreement.
  • Work with multiple functions i.e. Finance, Logistics, etc. to meet customer needs with a focus on business process improvement and customer relations.
  • Ensure Adherence to committed quality, accuracy & turnaround of the process, render Services within agreed Service Level Agreement's and Timeliness.
  • Proactively inform customers and internal team (e.g. sales) about issue’s or status based on inputs and clarifies any questions.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience is obtained throughout the entire process.
  • Process order activities in SAP
  • To assist with various projects as directed by management
  • Maintain and monitor inventory stock including observing whether the appropriate items have arrived and determining what needs to be reordered.
  • Daily monitoring of low supplies to ensure stock is ordered in advance of stock running out
  • Ensure all reports are completed as per the requirement 

 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field

 

EXPERIENCE:  

 

  • 5  years  experience in Order Management Processes
  • 1+ year experience in a people management role
  • Extensive knowledge on SAP (PTP, IM, OTC)
  • Essential to have experience in dealing with customers  and suppliers at multiple levels
  • Must be able to make decisions on critical issues when required

  • Act with integrity and professionalism as well as be accurate and pay attention to detail
  • Must be able to cope under pressure
  • Good administrative skills
  • Be able to work in a team as well as independently
  • Ability to excel and exceed customer expectations in a pressurised production driven environment
  • Deep understanding of the purchasing process
