Job Summary

The Data Analyst will provide critical support for initiatives in master data preparation, process mapping, data validation, and transition activities. In addition to executing data cleaning and validation tasks, they will drive data process optimization, leverage their expertise to ensure data accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts, facilitating a smooth transition to SAP IBP while maintaining high standards of data quality and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough data reviews to ensure raw material master data is accurate and current, focusing on info records (country of origin), Material Requirements Planning (MRP) controllers, SAP status, and active Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Execute data cleaning activities to correct or eliminate errors in master data, ensuring relevance and accuracy for SAP IBP usage.
  • Identify and rectify inconsistencies or duplications in master data records to align with updated business requirements.
  • Perform end-to-end (E2E) process mapping to analyze current ("As Is") data processes and design future-state ("To Be") models, identifying process gaps or inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement adjustments for data process optimization.
  • Document changes and maintain clear communication on updates to ensure team alignment and process transparency.
  • Support data verification and testing within the SAP IBP environment to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
  • Conduct rigorous testing on master data to detect errors or misalignments, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Validate that data outputs meet predefined standards and operational requirements, conducting root-cause analysis on detected issues.
  • Assist in the transition from legacy dashboard planning tools to SAP IBP by cross-referencing data sources and identifying discrepancies.
  • Provide post-go-live support by addressing ad hoc issues, performing spot checks, and ensuring continuity in data quality and system functionality.
  • Coordinate with the project team to gather feedback, refine processes, and create documentation for ongoing support and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure data accuracy by reducing data discrepancies and improving the reliability of master data in SAP IBP.
  • Identify and close process gaps in the E2E mapping in a timely manner to drive process improvement.
  • Support a smooth transition by identifying discrepancies during the transition phase and minimizing issues in the post-go-live environment.

Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements

Work Experience:

 

  • Minimum 1 year in data management, data analysis, or related roles within supply chain or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with SAP systems, specifically SAP IBP, is highly preferred.

 

Skills and Competencies:

 

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and master data management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with process mapping techniques and continuous improvement practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across departments.

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
