Job Summary:     

Production IT, Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for integration of customized card issuance projects as part of an SAP ECC 6.0 migration initiative. This role combines your prior SAP SCM experience, robust data analysis, and strong logic aptitude, with an opportunity to learn G+D’s proprietary ETL tools for secure data generation. G+D systems manage client data and create necessary production files and reports for personalized card issuance packages.  Activities include gap assessment, technical design, development, testing, and conversion support to satisfy business needs.


Job Duties:

Production IT, Senior Programmer Analyst is a subject matter expert (SME) with prior SAP ECC SCM techno-functional experience. S/he will upgrade and standardize existing G+D project configurations using a combination of proprietary and industry tools in order to integrate with SAP.  Ability to conceptualize high-level overview, and then translate design requirements into detailed implementation work packages.  Position requires collaboration with regional teams, as well as ability to guide operational improvements during migration to use SAP SCM capabilities. Consults with stakeholder to align on solution design, and conducts development and code reviews, prepares test cases, manages project integration and incident resolution for assigned software components within G+D’s card personalization and order fulfillment areas. 


Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Individual contributor, accountable to implement robust solution designs for efficient integration with SAP, including standard configurations, integration, and migration support of customized production systems.
  • Acts in a consultative SME role regarding SAP Supply Chain and Order Management functionality during design, integration, and upgrade processes for a variety of G+D’s customized project configurations.
  • Migrates existing and new client projects, including proprietary data translation, reporting, card production processes, and related technical content.
  • Ensures project configurations support local operational requirements to generate consistent improvements.
  • Responsible to maintain comprehensive change actions across DEV, UAT and Production instances.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and timely deliver to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Effectively communicates with cross-functional stakeholders, and effectively conveys complex technical concepts in understandable business terms.
  • Adheres to company policies, follows department procedures and standard practices, and respects guidelines governing privacy, physical security, and information security.
  • Conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times with good communication skills in English, team player. 
  • Self-starter who exhibits reliable judgment in dealing with business, personnel, or security-related information.
  • High level of urgency balanced against measured thinking and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work either onsite or offsite, and assist beyond regular office hours when occasionally needed.
  • Work performed in a light industrial setting with some exposure to shop floor noise, and may lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications and Skills:    


Technical expertise

  • Strong solution design, data manipulation/ETL, and file translation experience working with MS-SQL relational database management systems preferred.
  • Knowledgeable with SCM/Order-to-Cash production manufacturing processes (order entry, purchasing, BOMs, routings, material movement, MRP, scheduling, warehouse logistics, quality, and shipping) required.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills, problem solving mindset, and troubleshooting experience to effectively resolve issues within highly complex data processing environments.
  • Prior experience working with well-controlled change management practices; use of Jira platforms is ideal.
  • Ability to compile technical documents using standard repeatable processes, while leveraging best practices.
  • Prior banking/payment card industry experience with knowledge of cryptography/encryption methods is a plus.


  • Bachelor degree in technical discipline such as Computer Science, Math, or Software Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience; or an Associate Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Prior techno-functional experience with SAP ECC 6.0 migrations, supply chain and order management modules.
  • Expert level skills and practical experience defining clear technical requirements, database configuration, along with use-case definition, testing, and validation methods.
  • Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting data-driven application systems using SQL Server, XML, C#, .Net, Java, Web services, Python, and secure communications
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio)
  • Knowledge of cryptographic methods, payment card industry (PCI) standards, and EMV (Europay, Mastercard and Visa) guidelines is an asset
