Buyer (Indirect Materials & Services)

At G + D Mobile Security, leaders in Smartcards and Secure Payment elements, we are looking for a Purchaser to join our company.

Your Responsibilities and day-to-day:

• Assist the Purchasing team with communication across suppliers and internal departments.
• Engage with new suppliers, request samples, and maintain relationships.
• Negotiate rates and terms for purchases, both new and existing.
• Analyze supplier proposals, RFPs, and procurement data; manage Purchase Orders.
• Maintain and update price lists and supplier records.
• Support international awards and draft/refine procurement processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive area modernization.

Your Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a Purchasing Team, ideally in a production company
• Greater than 3 years of work experience in an international environment.
• Familiar with subcontracting and international supplier management
• Multidisciplinary approach and have experience in indirect procurement.
• Knowledge in developing & negotiating local contractual or SLA terms with vendors
• MS Office proficient, knowledge in SAP
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Proactive thinker with excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
• Team player with proven ability to successfully manage projects and resolve conflicts
• Profit and internal customer service oriented
