Embedded Test Development Lead/Sr/Principal Engineer 1

Qualification – BE – Telecommunication, computers, or any Branch who has worked in Telecommunication, Smart card, Embedded technology

Experience – Min 7+ years (7-12 years)

Technology – Smart Card, Java Card

Technical Skills – C, C++, Core Java, J2ME, embedded systems

Other Tools used – Clear Case, Clear Quest, Doors, GIT, JIRA

Soft Skills – Self-motivated, Focused, Good Team Player, Positive Attitude, Good communication skills – written and verbal, proactive.

Nice to have – Knowledge of Cryptology, Smart Card Operating system, Telecommunication

(GSM) and Electronic Payment system, proven knowledge to work in processes according to CMMI (Level 3).

 

Details – Must have attributes

  •  Telecom/ Embedded Systems or Smart cards background
  •  C/C++, Java and J2ME or Java Card knowledge preferred
  • Experience in test automation, writing scripts C,C++, defect analyses, reporting and tracking tools, requirement management
  • Analysis, design and implementation of smart card applications for the payments sector (EMV, MasterCard, Visa)
  • Detailed knowledge - Requirement coverage, Test Plans, Test and Code coverage, Test strategies defect and Feature Tracking, RCA’s
  •  Minimum 7+ (7-12 years) years of IT experience preferably in the above domains
  •  Minimum 2+ years of experience in Technical / project Lead Position
  •  Customer First” attitude and flexible approach in work is an absolute must.
  •  Identify areas for improvement to achieve - operation efficiency, customer satisfaction, value addition.
  •  Knowledge and experience of project management techniques – for Lead position
  •  Preferably no travel constraints

 

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements analysis and feasibility study
  • Efforts estimation
  • Test Scenario / Test Strategy development
  • Coding for Test scripts,code reviews, inspections
  • Defect identification, tracking, closure
  • Periodic status reporting
  • Mentoring junior team members, technical guidance / support wherever required
  • Building domain expertise
